Ecommerce and ERP for a US chocolate brand

A US chocolate launch paired a custom store with the inventory, shipping, and CRM systems it needed to run at scale.

The problem

Bringing Zotter's chocolate business into the US market meant more than translating a website. The business needed real inventory management, a wholesale channel alongside retail, and shipping that didn't rely on manual order processing.

It also needed a storefront that could handle serious traffic spikes during peak season without slowing down or going offline at the exact moment it mattered most.

What we did

We built the ecommerce store on WordPress with WooCommerce, with features designed around how Zotter customers actually shop: a store finder to locate retail carriers, and an autoship function that replaced fixed subscriptions with something fully flexible, where customers build their own repeat order.

The store runs on a high-powered server behind a CDN, built to handle high traffic volumes during the busiest season of the year.

We integrated the store with ShipStation to automate warehouse shipping, and set up an ERP system on Odoo, synced directly with the storefront, giving the business inventory and wholesale management from one connected system.

We also connected the store to Client Connect Suite for new customer welcomes, coupon management, follow-up messaging, and review management, and manage advertising across Google, Meta, and display placements.

What changed

Inventory, shipping, wholesale, and customer communications now run through one connected system instead of separate tools that do not talk to each other.

The site holds up during peak-season traffic instead of becoming a liability when it matters most, and Client Connect Suite automatically welcomes new customers, follows up, and requests reviews.

What it runs on

WordPress with WooCommerce runs the storefront. Odoo handles ERP and wholesale management, synced directly with the store. ShipStation automates shipping, and a CDN with high-performance hosting keeps the site running during peak traffic.

Client Connect Suite handles CRM, and Google, Meta, and display advertising drive acquisition.
